Jignesh Vasavada has built a wide-ranging career in media and entertainment, working across advertising, print, radio, television, and digital platforms for over 25 years. A well-rounded strategist, he later founded Tathastulive.com, a tech-enabled platform aiming to become the world’s largest aggregator of temple-related and spiritual services.
In the radio industry, Jignesh made notable impact. He served as National Programming Head at MY FM, where he was key in identifying and shaping the character Chingum Boy. Prior to that, he held the role of VP and Cluster Programming Head at Radio Mirchi, where he helped launch hits like “Sud” and “Mirchi Murga.” His work played a significant part in the growth and creative format of popular radio content
Jignesh’s reach goes beyond broadcasting. He’s a visiting faculty member at institutions such as Mudra Institute of Communications, Gujarat University’s Communications Department, LJ Institute of Mass Communications, and the National Institute of Event Management. He also writes weekly food columns and Gujarati film reviews.
On the strategic consulting front, he’s worked with a diverse set of clients—from astrology website GaneshaSpeaks and food brand Al Chipino Chips, to state projects like the Bihar government’s World Bank initiative. He also helped launch TOP FM stations in Gujarat and Jammu & Kashmir, and lent his digital content skills to the 2014 Modi campaign and initiatives like International Day of Yoga. He even co‑authored the book India Won – The Chai Table Book.
